What's in the latest Weather & Clock Widget build?

The current build's Google Play notes focus on bug fixes and performance improvement, without naming particular fixes or describing visible changes. The app also offers forecasts and customizable widgets, but Google Play rolls builds out over several days, so the listing may not show the same option to everyone at once.

What changed this week

These are the three changes in Weather & Clock Widget 6.5.5.2 that stand out in the developer's update notes and on its Google Play listing this week.

Weather & Clock Widget 6.5.5.2
  1. 01Google Play lists many bug fixes

The notes say “Many bug fixes,” but do not name affected screens, problems, or conditions. Treat this as a general maintenance note, not a list of specific repairs.

  2. 02Performance improvement is noted

The notes also mention a performance improvement, without identifying where it applies or providing a measurement. They do not specify a speed change or a particular feature affected.

  3. 03The second bug note adds no detail

The release notes repeat bug fixing after the broader bug-fix line. They offer no separate issue, feature, or behavior change to distinguish that phrase from the earlier note.

Our call on whether to update, and the link to the official Google Play listing, are on this issue's Weather & Clock Widget page.

How we write the digest

Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. Therapymetric is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.

FAQ

Is this the official list of Weather & Clock Widget changes?

No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with Interactive Saudi Arabia. The app's Google Play page is the authority for its current release notes and availability. This editorial summarizes what that page says; it cannot add detail that the developer has not included in the notes. Check the Play listing for the source wording.

Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?

Google Play rolls builds out over several days, so an update may not appear for every listing at the same time. If the button says Open, the store may not be offering a newer build to that listing yet. Check the app's Play page again later; this editorial cannot determine your rollout status or the state of your device.

Can I follow weather for more than one place?

The app description says it can follow weather and forecasts for multiple locations, and it lists searching by place name or ZIP code as well as automatic location detection. It does not explain the exact steps or limits. Look in the app for location controls if you want to add or switch places.
