Temu just got an update. Did yours?
Issue 1 · Oct 6–12, 2026. Google Play lists a recent Temu build, but its update notes are empty, so there is no specific change to point to; the listing describes a shopping app with a wide selection and checkout. Google Play rolls builds out over several days, so availability may differ between accounts and devices.

Start NowWhat changed this week
These are the three changes in Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire 4.87.0 that stand out in the developer's update notes and on its Google Play listing this week.
- 01The release notes are empty
Google Play provides no recent change notes for this build. That means the listing does not identify a new feature, fix, or other specific change.
- 02Browse a wide product selection
Product discovery is an existing Temu feature, not a change announced for this build. The description lists fashion, home decor, crafts, beauty products, clothing and shoes.
- 03Checkout is listed as convenient
Fast and secure checkout is described as an existing app feature. Google Play's listing does not say that checkout changed in this build.
Our call on whether to update, and the link to the official Google Play listing, are on this issue's Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire page.

Tips
- Browse by the item you need
Use the app's shopping experience to look through categories that match what you have in mind. Google Play's description names fashion, home decor, handmade crafts, beauty and cosmetics, clothing, and shoes. Treat these as examples of the listed range rather than a guarantee that a particular product or shop will be available when you look.
- Review terms before checking out
Before placing an order, read the details shown for the items and checkout carefully, including any shipping or return conditions. The Play description says free shipping and returns within 90 days, while noting that other conditions may apply. Check the terms presented for your order rather than assuming every item follows the same conditions.
- Check the listing for release notes
If you want to know what this build changes, revisit Temu's Google Play page and look for its latest notes. The information provided for this listing is empty, so it cannot confirm a fix or new feature. Play availability can arrive in stages, and the listing is the best source for its published details.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. Therapymetric is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of Temu changes?
No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with Temu. The app's Google Play page is the authority for its published release notes and listing details. The notes available here are empty, so this article cannot verify particular changes in the current build or replace information Temu publishes on its own Play page.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
Google Play rolls builds out over several days, so availability may differ during a staged rollout. If the app page shows Open, that page is not currently offering an install action for this account and device. Check the Temu listing again later for any change, and rely on Google Play's displayed status rather than assuming the rollout is complete.
Does Temu offer free shipping and returns?
Temu's Google Play description says free shipping and returns within 90 days, then adds that other conditions may apply. That wording does not establish that every item or order has identical terms. Review the conditions shown for the particular purchase in the app before relying on shipping or return details.
