Start NowWhat changed this week
These are the three changes in Quran Majeed - Qibla & Athan that stand out in the developer's update notes and on its Google Play listing this week.
- 01Urgent issues addressed in this build
Google Play says the build includes urgent issue fixes, but the notes do not name the problems or explain which parts of the app they affected.
- 02A new dashboard is listed
The notes announce a new dashboard but do not describe its layout, controls, or what information it displays. Treat this as an interface change, not a detailed feature guide.
- 03Navigation and themes are improved
Google Play lists navigation improvements and theme optimization. The notes do not identify specific menus or theme changes, so these are broad release descriptions rather than step-by-step instructions.
Our call on whether to update, and the link to the official Google Play listing, are on this issue's Quran Majeed - Qibla & Athan page.

Tips
- Keep a reading place in mind
Use the app’s Quran reading experience to continue a regular reading routine. Its description says Quran access is available offline, and that readers can choose from readable scripts. If you switch between the original Arabic and translations, check the text shown on screen before continuing so you know which reading view is active.
- Compare available translations carefully
The app description says translations are available in more than 80 languages and that translations can be compared alongside the original Arabic. When studying a verse, select the language or translation that suits your reading and take time to distinguish translated meaning from the Arabic text. The Play listing does not specify the exact controls or menu path.
- Choose recitation for listening
Quran Majeed’s description lists audio from more than 75 reciters. Browse the available recitation choices and select one that fits your listening routine. The listing also says audio can be kept for offline listening, but does not explain where that control appears, so look in the app’s listening options for the relevant choices.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. Therapymetric is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of Quran Majeed changes?
No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with Pakdata. Google Play’s page for Quran Majeed is the authority for the app’s listing and release notes. The summary here reflects the notes shown there, which mention issue fixes, a dashboard, navigation, and themes without explaining each change in detail.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
Google Play rolls builds out over several days, so an app page may show Open while the newer build has not yet become available to that account or device. The listing says availability can vary during a rollout; check the app’s Google Play page again later for its current status.
Can I read Quran without an internet connection?
The app description says Quran reading is available offline, so reading does not always require an active connection. It separately says audio can be kept for offline listening. The Play listing does not explain which content must be prepared beforehand, so check the app’s own reading and listening options while connected.
